01
PROJECT EVALUATION
When first reaching out to discuss your project needs, there are a few simple questions that you should consider. Answers to these questions help us to build out your quote, contact our sub-contractors and start the project bid and selections.
Give us a call at (859) 509-2058 and we can have our first discussion!
02
ON-SITE CONSULTATION
After the initial phone call, we ask to meet onsite to walk through everything with prospective clients and ask any clarifying questions we might have. This gives us the most accurate idea of the scope of work that needs to be performed.
03
DESIGN & SELECTION
After the On-Site Consultation, we will begin to work on a general design for the project, including receiving details from prospective clients on desired materials. From cabinet selections to flooring, we work closely with our clients to select the best materials for their project. If a prospective client has a desired look or materials they wish to incorporate into their design, we will select based upon their request. All presented design selections are recommendations only and the final selection decisions are made by our clients
04
COST ESTIMATE
Once selections are made and the on-site consultation is concluded, we will develop a detailed cost estimate sheet. The cost estimate sheet allows prospective clients to review specific figures, have a general scope of the work to be completed, and understand the labor included in the project cost.
05
CONTRACT & DEPOSIT
We tailor each contract to the individual client. TJH Construction requires a 10% project deposit along with a signed contract before any work may begin. The remaining balance is dependent upon the project length and scope of work.
06
TIMELINE
Once the deposit payment is received and a project bid is signed, we will develop a detailed timeline so that our clients understand when we will begin, milestone dates, and the estimated completion date.
07
PROJECT PREPARATION
Before the project demolition starts, there may be a task list to check off beforehand. This may include applying for city permits, moving/packing up furniture or other items, clearing a space for work trucks, etc. We will guide you through this process to ensure that your project starts on time.
08
PROJECT WORK
During this time, we will begin work. Our sub-contractors will immediately come in to do demolition, plumbing rough-in, etc. We update our clients throughout the entire project timeline as it moves towards completion. TJH Construction will help maintain the project site, keep it tidy and manage any of the sub-contractors during this time.
09
FINAL WALKTHROUGH
As the project draws to a close, we will meet with our client to go through any remaining punch-list items to ensure that everything is completed to the customers satisfaction before we leave.
